How can I make an appointment?
To make an appointment you will need to come into the studio to talk through designs and to leave a deposit. Please contact us if you have any special circumstances. We may be able to assist over the phone or via email in these cases.
I have e-mailed the studio, but haven’t heard back. What should I do next?
Our artists are often busy during our working hours, so please do not take offense if you do not hear back from us straight away.
If you haven't had a reply from us within 48 hours please call our studio on 07767303215 and we will happily discuss any queries you may have.
What should I do if I can't make it to my next appointment?
If you are unable to make your appointment, please do not worry. All we ask is that you can give us 48hrs notice, so that we are able to amend your booking and you will not lose your deposit.
Do you take walk-in's?
We do offer walk-in appointments, however they are subject to avaliability.
How much is my tattoo going to cost?
All tattoos are different, so there is no way of saying exactly how much or how long it is going to take. The best thing to do would be to come into the studio, and one of our friendly team can go though ideas. Then we will be able to give you a more accurate quote.
Will you tattoo over an old tattoo?
We are unable to say we can tattoo over an old tattoo in every case, however we aim to please every customer who enters our Studio. We ask that you please be patient, and we assure you that we will try to do the best that we can. Call in or contact us via phone or email so that we can discuss the next course of action.
What do I need to do to prepare for my appointment?
Make sure the night before you get a good night sleep, and eat a decent meal before you come in for your appointment. Getting tattooed while sleep deprived, hung over or hungry isn't advised. Make sure you wear comfortable clothing. There is a chance that you may get ink onto your clothes and it will stain, so please do not wear your best clothes. Also make sure the clothes that you choose make it easy to access the area you are having tattooed.
What should I bring with me?
Most importantly some form of photo ID. We will only accept passport or driving licence, and you must be over 18 to get a tattoo. You will need to bring the remaining balance of your tattoo in cash as we do not take card payment or cheques. We also recommend you bring anything to keep you occupied, laptop, ipod, ipad, books, etc. If you are sitting for a long period of time snacks are also handy to bring with you.
LASER REMOVAL

How do I make an appointment for laser removal?

Before getting laser treatment we would need to book you in for a consultation, to discuss how the procedure works, and what you may experience during and after the treatment. We will at this point make a decision wether laser removal treatment will be suitable for you. During your consultation we will take a photograph of your tattoo for monitoring purposes and then a spot test to ensure that there is no adverse reaction to the laser process. You will then return 1 week later to carry out your treatment.
How does laser removal work?
Ink is permantent under the skin because the particles are too big for the body's Lymph system to remove. The laser light, which is pigment specific, is absorbed by the tattoo pigment, causing it to heat so rapidly that it shatters and breaks down into much smaller fragments. The body's white blood cells are then able to remove these smaller ink particles. This process continues for around 6 weeks following each treatment.
On average how long does it take to remove a tattoo?
It is very difficult to put an exact time on this process, due to the fact that everyone has different immune systems and one person may find that their tattoo will fade much quicker, or slower, than another person. On average it will take between 8 - 12 treatments to remove a tattoo. It is a long process, and there are no quick fixes. To effectively remove a tattoo you must work your way through the layers of ink under the skin and so you have to be patient. It will not dissapear on the very first treatment. Note that for tattoo cover ups the existing tattoo does not need to be removed completely before it may be work over. This would be case specific for each individual.
How long should I wait to have a tattoo removed?
If you have just had a tattoo, and unfortunately you do not want it; it would be better to have laser removal treatments as soon as you can. Once the skin has healed from the tattoo procedure you will be able to have laser treatment. Older tattoos may fade quicker if they have been done with lesser quality inks. If the tattoo was carried out using modern inks it may be more difficult to remove the longer you leave it. This is because over time the ink particles will become encased in collagen, making the laser removal process a little harder. This is not to say that it wont be possible to remove the ink.
How do I prepare for my appointment?
Before you come for laser treatment we would ask you to remove any coarse hair on the area and ensure it is clean. We will not be able to carry out treatment if your skin is tanned, this includes fake tan. Due to the nature of the process, laser removal may cause superficial damage to the skin including blisters, as it is a pigment specific laser.
Will I be suitable for laser removal?
We will discuss this in your consultation. There are some factors that may mean we are unable to perform the treatment. This will be explained by the laser tecnician. We only ask that you are completely honest on your consultation form, so we can make an informed decision if this treatment will be suitable for you.
Are there any side effects of laser tattoo removal?
There is a possibility that some customers may experience side effects of this procedure. There are a lot of factors to take into account. This is why we must insist on consultations and spot testing before we undergo treatment. If you are worried about anything before or after your treatment we urge you to keep in contact with our laser tecnitian, so that they may be able to advise you.
